Page dividers or spacing? 🤔 Cause this hack to use a page to fake it is in 99% of all Figma files I’m in.

Does anyone else experience this?

Hello, organising Figma file is hard, we need to group some Figma and FigJam file per releases, therefore it would be great to be able to create folders inside existing folders. Every project and teams are different, this will fit any needs.

It is nice to see the work with the new UI, resize-able popup menus instead of frames, moving the taskbar to the bottom (although not make it moveable to the annoyance of many users) …

But this actually useful feature (collapse-able pages) that is discussed since 2021 … still no update?

Maybe Figma team should double check their priorities and actually USE the software more instead of just looking at it. 😉

Sorry if that sounds a bit harsh but it is very frustrating …

Is there any timeline for the release of a collapsible page organization system?

even showing “sections” of a page on the page hierarchy/navigation would be a great short-term win.

Add dividers to the flows for better organization of the process.

It’s great that we can now add natural dividers within the page structure but it would be even better if you could create hierarchies or expandable sections within the pages section.

For example, if you had a file that consisted of designs, research and misc for example, you may want multiple pages like this:

Designs
Desktop
Mobile webapp
iOS

Research
For testing
Competitor analysis
Market

Misc
Cover
Background information

This would provide a page hierarchy that would be much easier to use and more focussed, especially as a file grows over time.

Yes, or allow for text headers in the new ‘separator’ pages.

Here is the tutorial, with the plugin, you can quickly create child pages or subpages in Figma.

A while ago, I discovered a way to transform a page into a title to better organize my grouping of work areas. By simply adding a space before the title, the page became static (not clickable unless clicked twice) and displayed in bold. It was a great improvement—I could group pages with clear titles and dividers, which made everything much more organized!

I quickly updated the structure of all my active projects, and my clients loved the change. It made it much easier for them to identify and navigate work areas.

However, the pages I had set as titles have now suddenly turned into dividers as well. Why was this changed? It was such a simple and effective way to organize things. Did this happen to anyone else?

Now, every project I’m working on has double dividers, and I need to go through and clean up all the files again.
