I would love it if figjam had small badges peek out from the sides pointing to the direction of where a section of my work is. By that I mean each badge would be a circle with a pointy arm (like a speech bubble) pointing in the direction of the sections in the file. When I’m away from the section the badge would be on the side with its arm in the direction of the section, and it would stay at the edge of the window till the section comes into view. When it comes into view the badge would almost magnetically attach itself to the section.
Sometimes my workspace becomes really big and has lots of different sections. And when I’m doing focused work in one part of the figjam, and need to locate another section i need to zoom out fully, travel around the space and zoom in again.
You could choose which sections you want to see and which you don’t. You could choose a solid colour or an icon or even text to represent your section.
See this example from the screenshots below. The first one shows that these badges hover over these sections. The second screenshot shows how these badges hover at the edge of the window when the sections are out of view.
