Figma Slides Animate to Template

Hey! Yeah, this one’s a known gap right now. When you pull slides in from a published template, transitions and Smart Animate don’t come along, so everything defaults to no animation.

A couple of workarounds that help:

• Duplicate the whole template file instead, and all your animations stay put
• In grid view, select a bunch of slides and set the transition once for all of them
