Figma Slides: Adding links to images

Yes, we absolutely need to be able to add links to any other object: component instance, group, frame, image, etc.

You could using prototype. Click image or icon or other objects that you want to add link then change to prototype and add interactions and select the trigger on click and choose action “Open Link” then finally paste your link .

can you explain this workaround further? you mean i have to create a prototype in advance and embed it then into figma slides? i can’t find a direct solution “change to prototype” when placing and image and selecting the object. thanks!

You can use the plugin "Universal Hyperlinker"and it will hyperlink images, frames and shapes in one click right on the canvas. Not just in prototype mode.
