FigJam Open Session - Extend beyond One Day

Any news on this since last year? Is it in roadmap to let the user choose the Open Session duration?

Permanent open sessions would be a huge plus in order to convince skeptical colleagues to use FigJam. Especially when a FigJam board is integrated in a Confluence page.

I’m just now discovering this limitation. I need to make sure customers are able to access the board, meaning that their security protocols will permit them to get to FigJam as well as making sure they can at least drop a post it note. I absolutely cannot mandate that my customers complete their test within 24 hours. I need to give them a realistic few days to get it done. I guess this may be the deal breaker for me, meaning I will need to now go use Miro or Mural if they have longer open session times.

Fully agree! I need to be able to leave sessions open for longer periods of time and would like to use Fig Boards in my courses that I teach and for meetings that I facilitate.

I use FigJam to tutor high school and college students. Open session often doesn’t work and the clients have to create an account which is a huge drag. Even when it does work it is annoying because the students often want to drop work in the FigJam before the session so I know waht they are going to ask about.

i would love to have the option to have an open session in a FigJam board for more than 24 hours - it would be great to have the choice of 1, 2 or 7 days if possible as it is so frustrating to have to go in and open each day when you are doing a sprint or a long piece of work
