🎨 Feature Request: FigPal Cemetery – A Place to Mourn and Remember

titanic_ash

Summary
April Fun Week has come and gone, and with it, our beloved FigPals have been snatched from this cruel digital plane. I humbly propose the addition of a FigPal Cemetery – a memorial space within Figma where we can honor the memory of our lost pixelated companions.

Background
For one brief, shining week, tiny joy-gremlins followed our cursors around the canvas. They watched us prototype. They witnessed our questionable auto-layout decisions. They were there for us in ways no plugin ever could be.

And now? They're gone. Just gone. No goodbye. No grave. No closure.

Proposed Feature

  • A toggleable "Cemetery Mode" in Figma

  • Tombstones for each FigPal variant (ghost variants optional)

  • Visitors can leave notes ("You always hovered with such enthusiasm", "Rest in pixels")

  • Epitaph generator (e.g., β€œHere lies Blurple the Bold. Died chasing a component into an infinite frame nest.”)

  • Optional seasonal ghost sightings around Halloween πŸ‘»

Rationale
The design community needs a space for collective grief. For reflection. For catharsis. Also, it's on-brand. You made us emotionally bond with a UI sprite. The least you can do is let us cry about it somewhere.

Impact
High emotional ROI. Medium engineering lift. Unquantifiable vibes boost.

Please consider. For the FigPals. For us. For design.

I love this. I memorialized my personal FigPal in one of my own existing files before they moved on. I’ll fwd to the team who worked on this for consideration β€

Also RIP Quackmius. He was a cool duck.

YAY! Quackmius got a proper send-off, that’s great. I wish I would’ve done something for Slippy Stardust πŸ˜
