I’d love to request enhancements on Figma AI features

for image generation:

  • allow a global setting to add watermark/disclaimer to an image to mark this as generated by AI and not meant for actual live applications or sites.

for copy generation

  • rephrasing features can be as is.
  • when text are completely generated from scratch: allow some user control to mark it with a different color/other forms to visually distinguish what’s generated by AI

use case

  • for companies with strict restrictions on what’s allowed on image and copy on their digital products (e.g. for medical or legal regulations), this allows reviewers and stakeholder who are looking the file to quickly distinguish what’s NOT for production.

This is a great idea! The combination of contextual imagery + matching copy would be a huge workflow improvement, especially for marketing designs and rapid prototyping.

Current workarounds while we wait for this feature:

For copy generation, you could use:

  • ChatGPT/Claude for headlines and body text
  • Copy.ai or Jasper for marketing-specific content
  • Then paste into your Figma text layers

For contextual image + copy together, here's an interesting approach:

Calino (AI image plugin) actually lets you be more specific about text-in-image scenarios. You can prompt for things like:

  • "Website hero section with placeholder text areas"
  • "Mobile app screen with copy space for headlines"
  • "Marketing banner with text overlay ready"

Then you get images that are already designed with copy placement in mind, making it easier to add your actual text afterward.

The bigger picture: Your feature request makes total sense though - having Figma natively understand "generate a travel blog hero image AND write the headline copy" would be incredibly powerful. The context awareness would be game-changing for design velocity.

Definitely worth upvoting this request! The more designers ask for integrated AI workflows like this, the more likely we are to see it implemented.

What specific design scenarios would benefit most from this combo feature in your workflow?
