Feature Request: Canvas Minimap
I’d love to see a Canvas Minimap added to Figma, similar to the minimap in VS Code.
When working on large and complex Figma files, it can be difficult to keep track of where you are on the canvas. A small minimap in the corner could show a zoomed-out view of the entire canvas, with a highlighted area indicating the current viewport.
It would be especially useful if users could drag the viewport within the minimap to quickly navigate to different areas of the canvas, or click on any area to jump there.
This would make navigating large files much faster and more intuitive.
