Enable Dev Mode Annotations Feature for Developers as well

Ok maybe we got that wrong, but it seems that the new Dev Mode “Annotate” and “Measure” Features are only available to designers but not the developers themselves? We’d think it would be very useful for them as well. When the developers want to add some info during handoff, or if we forgot something and they want to add that info later as a reminder etc.

    Coming back here to see that there are no updates from the Figma Team? Any improvements in sight?

    +1 on this feature. It would be very useful for developer needs. We would test to let our developer team to add specific developer annotations categorizing team with the as is feature so the iOS and Android teams can share the ie. same variables name logic. The only solution now is to add a full edit seat to them… :/
    Thanks to the annotations category feature it would be also useful to add a filter annotations by category feature so that if i need i can focus only on specific categories.

      I completely agree with you — having Dev Mode annotations available to developers without needing a full edit seat would make collaboration far more efficient. Shared annotation categories and filters would help teams stay aligned, especially when iOS and Android developers need to follow the same naming conventions or logic structures.
