Disable image border by default when importing images into FigJam

Thanks for the response Celine. I’m really asking about export here. I can set “transparent” as a border style for exported images, but why not a “none” option? I appreciate that I can copy as PNG, open a Figma file and export from there … but again, why enforce the work around just to achieve a basic clean image export?

The other thing we’re really missing—and the reason we’re still using Miro—is retained meta data. For context, a key use case for us is collecting and collaborating on AI-generated images and storyboards. Meta-data on images includes critical prompt info. When that’s striped out, it dramatically reduces the utility for us.

If i ‘export selection’ it should just export the selection. The addition of adding a very large border seems strange, i can’t understand why you would add it?

At least have a check box to apply border or not in the export selection dialog

+1 for this to be an option when exporting selection.

Honestly, it doesn’t even look “aesthetically pleasing”. It looks more like a bug. There should at least be a checkbox to remove/apply this border as others mentioned. 

This is very odd behavior. The default should be without a border and if people want a border than you can give them an option to do so. Why hasn’t this been resolved yet and when will it be resolved? It’s very annoying..
