I want to open the figma file URL directly within the Figma desktop app.Â
Suggestion: when clicking on the new tab in the desktop app, I can add the URL in the search bar to directly open the file within desktop app.Â
Problem: It’s frustrating to open the copied figma file URL in browser then wait for it to open the app.Â

This solves my problem but I think they can advance the searchbar in newtab to support URLs so that it will be more accessible. What do you think ?
