We are a development shop that regularly hires external designers. We have to pay for each of them to access our Figma projects, even though they already have their own Figma subscriptions. It is frustrating and feels unnecessary, but it is not the main issue.

The real problem is that we do not want external designers to have access to all of our projects. Creating a new team for each project would require us to pay for multiple licenses for our own developers and pay again for each external designer across every project. This level of overbilling is unacceptable to small dev shops.

Is there a way to limit editor access to a single project within a team without requiring duplicate licensing fees?
