As a designer, I would love the ability to customize the icon and color of my pinned design files. I have multiple pinned files, and currently, I have to hover over each one to know which is which. Being able to visually distinguish them at a glance would improve organization and workflow efficiency.

Thank you for this @JettyLou - I came here to place a feature request for the exact same thing!

What I would like as a user:
In the same way you can set a cover image for a file, it would be great to have an icon picker from a library of icons. Here’s my flamingo file because, why not.Perhaps consider bringing figjam / figma colours into the icons but might be too much, the custom icons alone would be a huge help.
It looks like there was another request sometime ago also.
I found this feature request through the process of creating my own. Custom emojis or icons would work for me - the reason this is important to me is simply because multiple pinned files are hard to distinguish between in the UI, even though the files I tend to pin are also the files I am referencing the most, so by pinning them, finding those tabs becomes more difficult, leading me to not USE pinning. But pinning is really useful and I want to. So having icons would help. I would even prefer their title displaying normally over having no distinguishing information at all.
