I have a single page site that has a nav bar that scrolls to different sections on that page. I want to add sub pages for some of the content on that page, and I’m trying to add the same nav bar and anchor a nav menu item to a section on the main page but it doesn’t seem like its possible unless its on the same page.

Yeah, that’s a current limitation of Figma Sites. Anchor links only work within the same page. Once you move to a different page, those section anchors stop being addressable. There’s no way yet to link directly to a section on another page like you would with a URL hash. The only workaround is duplicating content or linking back to the top of the main page. You can fake it a bit with separate pages per section, but it breaks smooth scrolling. For now, Figma just isn’t built for true cross-page anchor navigation.
