Right now, it’s easy to copy content from Illustrator into Figma, but not the other way around. I don’t think that’s fair or beneficial for designers who work across multiple tools.
Better interoperability between platforms would make workflows much smoother. Many of us use both Illustrator and Figma depending on the stage of the project, and being able to move vectors back and forth reliably would save time, reduce friction, and support more flexible creative processes.
Design tools should not trap work inside their own ecosystem. Cross-platform compatibility helps designers, teams, and ultimately the quality of the work.
Please improve copy-paste/export compatibility from Figma back into Illustrator.
