Currently in Figma Motion, there are two separate workflows. Animation panel presets and manual keyframing. Presets are great for quick results, but their keyframes are completely hidden and can't be inspected or modified.
Feature request: Add the ability to "expand" or "convert" a preset animation into its underlying keyframes so they appear in the manual keyframing panel. This would let designers use presets as a starting point and then fine-tune timing, easing, and values, bridging the gap between the two workflows.
This would be especially useful for:
- Learning how presets are constructed
- Customizing presets beyond what the panel currently allows
- Maintaining a single, unified keyframe timeline
Thanks!
