Connect or embed FigJam files with Figma files

Allow the creation of new pages within a Figma Design project where we can choose a FigJam option. This way, we can link something to a project without needing two separate files.

I often find myself with 2 files per project; 1 for mapping and ideation (in FigJam) and 1 for working (Figma)

I often copy and paste a flow from FigJam into Figma, but I’ve always wanted to have a FigJam page within my working Figma file.

This would be great to consolidate more of the design process into one file!

I’m very much still waiting for this feature. Creating a flowchart for my projects is easier in FigJam but it would help out a lot if they can be referenced inside the Figma file with the designs

I’d love to have Figma and FigJam in one file.

We organize our working files by creating a new one for each feature or initiative. We now have 1 FigJam file for shared notes, 1 Figma file for conceptual work and wireframes, at least one FigJam file for stakeholder presentations (maybe slides in the future) and 1 Figma file for the high fidelity designs and handover. It would be absolutely wonderful, to move all of those in one file with several pages. The pages (or even sections?) can still be restricted to be either Figma, FigJam or slides, but they should be able to all live in one file. This would be extremely helpful for us!

I guess this is just my own flavour of the same thought as everyone else here 🙂

Came to the forum knowing there would be a post about this. The ability to add a figjam file as a page in a design file would be very helpful! 😍

Figjam pages within a Figma document would be great for keeping all project documentation together.

(i.e. one document can contain both Figma and Figjam pages)

Was about to submit it as a separate feedback, and wasn’t surprise to see it’s already a full thread - so adding the feedback I had here.

• As many of the projects have a figma file , and figjam file - easily linking between the two would be great, we often find that we instead duplicating information (project board of sort for example) to both files, trying to use one sort of file for as long as we can even when not optimal (rough concepts in figjam, or trying to stay on figma for things like workshops, or information captured and/or visualized such as diagrams and flows).
  • Is this something Figma is looking into?
  • It would be great to know if there is anything that currently exist that could help or used that we were not aware of.
  • would love to hear from anyone who might have a good workaround.

I share the same thought as many people here, it would be awesome to have some features of the Figjam, or maybe a mode in Figma files to use the whole features of figjam. Actually, I am using figjam aside my figmas, and it’s sometimes really annoying to use the different features between the two and then copying and pasting things between figjam and figma files.

Could we please have an update on whether this is being considered?

I have a whole figjam just for copying and pasting links, reactions, arrows, etc. to Figma files. I also find it annoying that layers pasted into Figjam get auto-flattened and I prefer to work in Figma.
