My company is setting up our component Figma file to have collections be where we add each compontent type, then groups will have all the variables for that component. We’re setting it up this way so we can use modes for all the different brand’s design languages. The only point of friction is that collections can’t be collapsed
It would be helpful to have the ability to:
- Collapse collections
- Remember the collapsed/expanded state
- Optionally collapse all collections at once
- Ideally hide collections that aren't currently being used
This would be especially valuable for larger design systems with multiple brands, modes, and token categories.
