When collaborating remotely in Figma, it would be extremely helpful to have a built-in chat feature. This would allow us to communicate directly within the design workspace, rather than 1) adding temporary text fields or 2) switching to Slack, Teams, or another external channel. So far, we’ve mostly been using the first method, which is far from ideal.

That’s a nice idea, but for now you can also use any comment thread as a chat (it has a mention feature, and you can also add images to your comments) or widget like lil chat
