Changing the location of annotations

I’d love this too! I was just adding annotations and they were typically aligning to the right side of the frame, but sometimes it’s inexplicably on the left side instead. Very difficult to work around them and ensure nothing’s overlapping when it’s unpredictable and locked-in to a certain spot.

I think, when the object that you attach the annotation to is on the left side of your outermost frame (= your screen layout), then they flip to the left, otherwise they’ll appear on the right.

• for manual repositioning the annotations
• toggle/shortcut for hiding 
• drag to another component ; alt-drag to copy to another component
• option to copy or not the annotations when duplicating the frame

Just so you know this already exists and is Shift-Y by default (at least on the Mac version of the app).

But also I’d love to have more control over annotation position.  Manual would be nice, but it would also be nice to be able to tell it to consolidate all annotations on one side of the frame (top, bottom, left, right). That would then allow me to arrange my artboard to accommodate the stack of them more easily (and predictably). Currently they seem to go to the left or right based on whichever is closer, but that means if I have my frames set up to flow left to right, you’re sometimes getting one frame’s annotations intermingled with the next frame’s and that can get confusing.

Related to this — please leave the “Add annotation” option when right-clicking a layer no matter what tool you’re using. Currently I have to switch to the annotations tool to even get this option to appear, yet “Remove annotation” is always visible. It should be at least as easy to add an annotation as it is to remove one.
