Can we set instances / image as one of the variables?

i want to have different icons / images for different modes
for icons, i have made them as instance

is there a way to do it that i missed?

Thanks for the feedback. Currently, Figma is supporting Color, Number, String, and Boolean. Unfortunately, others are not supported. We will keep improving by hearing your opinion.
