Better Position Information on Constraints Figma Design

Giulia Hanae

Hello everyone,

I've been using Figma at work for over a year, and there are some things I still don't really get or use it better to get the most out of it. Maybe it's my fault for not paying enough attention to all the tutorial videos, but I don't really understand the idea of 'anchoring' an element in your frame based on size changes, making sure that the element stays in the same place.

It would be really helpful to know the distance from the constraints I've set. For example, I have a 4K frame (3840 x 2160) and I want to put a small logo in the bottom-right corner. In the 'Position' box, the numbers 'X' and 'Y' will be based on the pixels that the element is lined up with. This is OK, but if I want to line them up based on a specific margin, like 20 pixels from the bottom, I want to be able to see that based on the settings I have set for the element, for example the right and bottom constraints.

I'm sorry if this is just because I'm new to using Figma, but I'd really like to know if there's a similar way to work with it.
