I tried to replicate the behavior in a test file, and please note that if you hover over your tokens, you’ll be able to see the full text in a tool tip. 

That said, I’ve given your feedback to the team for consideration, and I’ve updated your topic into a feature request so we can gauge interest from the community. Hope this helps in the meantime.
