Allow us to dock/move the new UI3 toolbar

It’s disappointing to see handy new features being made exclusive to UI3, especially while the widely unpopular decision to float the toolbar at the bottom remains unchanged.

Honestly, this is one of my biggest pet peeves with this UI update, as a website designer, having the toolbar at the bottom is so distracting and I find myself accidentally selecting something when working on a lower portion of my designs. 

Please give us the option to move the toolbar to the top of the frame. I beg you!

this kind of user hostile nonsense is why i have switched to penpot and dread whenever i have to open this garbage app

just roll it back it’s not that hard. NO ONE WANTS THIS

Today I tried UI3 again after many months, hoping that this glaring issue (see all the feedback) was resolved but nope, the floating bar is still there.
You fixed the other floating panels, how long does it take to release a fix for the action bar?

• let users decide whether to have it at the bottom or at the top
• give an option to always hide it (power users use shortcuts, they don’t use the action bar)

For now it’s back to the previous UI for me, once more.

The toolbar’s placement is problematic on large displays. With my 27" screen, I naturally focus about a third of the way down, where I position my content. The bottom placement not only falls out of my line of sight but also violates Fitts's Law—all other key controls are top-aligned, making this an inefficient outlier.

It should either be at the top, or draggable to any position.
