Introduce a new Figma AI capability that allows users to generate complete design libraries—such as Design Systems—using natural language prompts. Once created, these libraries can be automatically referenced across other Figma files, enabling seamless reuse and consistency.

For example, a user could prompt Figma AI to “Create a modern Design System with components for web and mobile”, and then in a separate file, ask “Generate a SaaS dashboard UI using the previously created Design System”. Figma AI would intelligently reference the original library, ensuring design consistency and reducing manual linking.

This feature would streamline workflows, promote scalable design practices, and empower teams to build faster with AI-assisted modularity.

Concept

(A Figma UI mockup showcasing a new AI-powered feature. The screen is split into two panels. On the left, a user types a prompt into a Figma AI assistant: 'Create a modern Design System for web and mobile.' The AI responds with a generated library of components (buttons, inputs, typography, color styles) shown in a grid. On the right panel, a new Figma file is open with a dashboard layout being generated. A prompt reads: 'Create a SaaS dashboard using the previously generated Design System.' The dashboard uses the same components from the library. The interface is clean, modern, and uses Figma's signature style with light grey backgrounds, blue accents, and clear typography. Include Figma UI elements like layers panel, toolbar, and canvas).
