Adding another +1 for this feature. Just created an entire deck template, and came back to create a different format version, and … nothing.

Can't believe FIGMA SLIDE can’t custom size slide. It's easy choice for must-have feature. Im building a system presentation on SLIDE, and consider which platform can easily customize.

Figma we need custom size please!!

Standards like : 8.5x11, 11x17 for print!

And even for mobile: vertical aspect ratios would be rad!

I followed the recommendation made by the design studio creating my branding to go with Figma for our slides, as they designed our new design system within Figma.
Now that they delivered everything, I’m discovering that our deck template doesn’t fo full screen on most desktop devices and I can’t change the deck’s size.
I feel scammed. How is this not a feature?!

+1 … Yeah this is a must if our team is to transition over to Figma for decks. So many scenarios where portrait is needed.

Crazy that this isn’t a feature, and this topic hasn’t been addressed in 16 months.

We would love this feature, it’s a bare minimum when creating presentations!

Hi, I have a hack!

Use design mode to create a rectangle the size you want with no fill, but border, and then create another rectangle for the background with a colour fill to match the background. Finally, lock it and go back to slide mode.

Voting for this one.

Please add ability to change Slide sizes and importing PDF files into Figma Slides.

Frederic_Fornini

2012 - Hey we’re Figma, we have created a tool that help you prototype websites, any size, platform...
2024 - Hey we’re figma slides, we have almost everything Figma has. We’re here to help you make better slides, in a one size fits all 16:9 composition. Enjoy !

This is insane. Please add this feature. We want to use Figma slides but cannot without the ability to customise slide size and set portrait orientation. We must use Canva until you add this feature (sadly!)

+1 Please forget a second about A.I. and work on the fundamentals again. It’s been a year for this basic feature : (

A year later and still no re-size, ugh.

How do I change the size of the slide in Figma slides?
is it even possible?

Yersain Dossan

+1 vote from me

Alexandre Chaudron

I didn’t find any option. I also need this. And the possibiliy to create vertical slides

Justin Rattray

How is this such an oversight? Understanding that this type of implementation takes some time, but after trying to convince our entire company to switch to figma, we discover that you can’t switch slide orientation… this absolutely set back the decision here due to this limitation.. mods if you’re seeing this.. should be prioritized for Figma slides..

Great. I have to tell the design team to go back to InDesign or (gasp) even PowerPoint to create presentations. Figma is marketed as any size for any product, yet presentations are stuck at 1920 x 1080. It’s ridiculous that even Adobe products, Google Slides, Keynote, and Canva offer better options for presentations than Figma.

Everyone’s so up AI’s butt that they’re neglecting the fundamentals. It’s maddening.
