Hello Figma team,

First of all, thank you for your great work on Figma — it has truly transformed the design workflow for many of us.

I’d like to request RTL (Right-to-Left) support for the Wrap feature in Auto Layout.

Currently, when using Auto Layout with horizontal direction and Wrap enabled, the elements are wrapped from left to right, which works perfectly for LTR languages.
However, when designing interfaces in RTL languages like Arabic, Persian, this behavior causes layout issues. In RTL layouts, the natural expectation is for the second line to wrap from the right, not from the left — but this is currently not possible.

Although reversing the order of elements helps with initial alignment, it does not fix the direction of wrapping, which leads to awkward designs and manual workarounds.

Adding RTL-aware wrapping logic in Auto Layout would be a huge improvement for designers working in RTL environments and help Figma better support global design needs.

This seems a no brainer. I have many instances where I need this feature, and instead of using auto layout, I am forced to build a second version of the layout to display it with the proper wrap order at those breakpoints.

Fully supporting this request! As a designer working extensively with Hebrew interfaces, this is one of the most frustrating gaps in Figma's RTL support.

The Wrap behavior in Auto Layout is great — but when you're designing RTL layouts, it completely breaks the natural flow. Elements that should wrap from the right end up starting from the left on the next line, which forces us into manual workarounds that are time-consuming and hard to maintain.

This is especially painful when working with tag systems, chip groups, or any component that uses wrapping. The current workaround of reversing element order only partially solves the alignment issue, but it doesn't fix the wrapping direction itself.

RTL support is not a niche request — it affects hundreds of millions of users designing for Arabic, Hebrew, Persian, and other RTL languages. Figma has made great strides with RTL text support, and adding RTL-aware wrapping logic to Auto Layout would be a natural and impactful next step.

Please prioritize this — it would make a huge difference for the RTL design community!
