Accessible Text Color on FigJam

The provided palette for text color is not accessible. Most colors do provide sufficient contrast against the white canvas.

I understand the second row of colors would be useful when the text is placed on top of color/darker surfaces, but the colors on the first row should at least meet AA over the white background of the canvas. Otherwise one is forced to always pick a custom color if the background is white, or from the few that provide the most contrast.

Hi @Ricardo_Cabral1 - thank you for the feedback. I relayed this to our accessibility team to get some insight, and a recommendation was handed to me:

Try using stickies. FigJam preset colors for sections and stickies are built with accessibility in mind. Text in stickies is always black and paired with preset colors, so there’s no need to worry about contrast issues. For other use cases (like text directly on colored shapes or the canvas), we hear you that more of the presets could offer stronger contrast on white. We are constantly working on improving this, so we'll keep this feedback in mind for future palette updates.
