Ability to change the guides colours

🎂Here to sing Happy 5th birthday to this request🎂. Understandably such an insurmountable hurdle must require extensive resources and effort…. but we have trust that the guideline-color-changing development team will be able to deliver this complex feature any year now.

I understand where you’re coming from with this one. One thing to note that hasn't been said in this thread: the guide color is hardcoded deliberately. It was picked to meet contrast requirements against Figma's default canvas, which is exactly why it falls apart on red brand palettes, dark frames, and in Enhance Contrast mode. A single fixed color can't cover every canvas, and that's the argument for making it configurable.

Rest-assured that this has been filed with the team, including everything in this thread… your screenshots and the distinct cases here: red-on-red, Dark Mode, Enhance Contrast, and the ask for page- or project-level control rather than per-guide. I'll provide an update here, if there’s anything new to share from the team.
