Hi, after I had been struggle to verify my academic status, contacted SheerID and waiting for response, I was noticed by my university to change my account Email address to my school gmail account. The problem is that since I had already processed my procedure to reverify my status by Sheer ID, I was blocked by Figma system. Considering the fact that now I have my account set with my School Email, I ask you to reset my verification record so that I can start the procedure again. Please don’t tell me to contact Sheer ID again because I already have.
When using annotations, there’s a recurring bug where some annotations are visible while others are not.The issue occurs when annotations are inside a Section. If I remove the Section, the annotations immediately appear.
Hello everybody, Issue description:I have problem with Figma which is stopping be from using Figma as I experience crashes almost every time I try to scale or move any frame. It does not seem to be related to complexity of the design file as it happens on both projects which contain 3 frames and 2 components and projects which are much more complex (tens or hundreds of layers). This occurs regardless whether I use browser app or desktop app.The error messages I get are mostly ‘Something went wrong, reason: crashed’ or something what seems like ID of the object I was manipulating (even when it is just one blank frame).Around one year ago, I have never had a Figma crash, but since around last 6 months it happens all the time.My specs are:Geforce RTX 4080 Intel I-9 -14900HX 32 GB RamWhat I tried:Two days ago I even reinstalled my operating system (Windows 11) but crashes keep happening even more often I would say. We’ve found annotations to be an incredibly valuable way to capture ideas (like animations) in a clearer and more structured format compared to comments. However, it’s difficult for us to justify requiring a paid developer seat just so clients and collaborators can view these notes. Many of our projects involve multiple client stakeholders, and it’s not practical to purchase additional seats for everyone who needs visibility. The introduction of annotations was such a helpful improvement for collaboration, so it’s a bit disheartening to see this functionality restricted. We’d love to better understand the reasoning here, as it feels like a step backward in terms of accessibility and client collaboration.

It would be great if the professional plan offered more than 4 variable modes. Right now I want to set up a mode for each component size-- XS - XL, 5 sizes all together-- which puts me over the 4 limit for pro, but well under the 40 limit for enterprise, which is a quantity I will never need. And there’s no use case for enterprise at all for a team our size. I think 10-12 modes for pro would be perfect to give small teams like mine room to grow before we reach the scale where an enterprise plan would be worth consideration.

I am a student and we have a free student plan from our school. I am trying to verify my student plan but it says that I have exceeded the verification limit or I have already activated it. Although the role on my profile is set to Education > Student but when I join on Edu Teams, it wants me to verify my status and I can’t verify it because it won’t let me. I have already contacted SheerID but they take way too long on responding.
I can export my file to PDF and then convert to MS Word, but the file doesn’t convert cleanly. The resulting MS Word file requires cleaning every page; every text box has a duplicate and there are stray page numbers. I’m looking for a faster solution to cleanly convert the file for a partner organization. Any suggestions?

Hi everyone,I recently noticed that Figma Sites now allows us to embed video directly into frames, as follow: This looks like a really useful feature for adding richer content.However, I am running into a problem: The video displays and loops fine. But the sound does not play at all, no matter what settings I choose. I have tried enabling “Play Sound” and disabling “Mute,” but the video remains silent. Has anyone else encountered this issue? Is there a workaround or a known limitation with Figma Sites’ video embed? Or could this be a bug in the current release?Would really appreciate if anyone from the community (or the Figma team) could clarify whether sound on video embeds is officially supported yet.Thanks in advance!
