Slimline: free WebP and AVIF export with a file size limit

Hi everyone. I built Slimline because Figma's export has no WebP or AVIF option, and the compression plugins I tried put export behind a subscription.

What it does:

  • Exports WebP, AVIF, JPG, or PNG from any selected layers
  • Keeps each file under a size you set
  • Shows a before and after preview at 100%
  • Runs on your computer, with no account and no server

It's free: https://www.figma.com/community/plugin/1685398335415882876/slimline

I'd value feedback from anyone who exports images for the web. What's missing for your workflow?

Great plugin I’m surprised this feature hasn’t been more highly requested.

This helps with use case for building display ads that need to be under 150kb without having to put it into another 3rd part compressor.

One feature I think might be helpful to myself and other people hopefully is to give an option to export in ZIP or non-zipped.  Seems always like an extra step to unzip a download that you just made.

Thanks, that's exactly the case I built it for.
Today a single file saves as is and several save as one ZIP.
I'll add a choice to save them as separate files instead.
Out of curiosity, how many sizes do you usually export per ad?
