SemantiDeck — keep accessibility work through Figma Slides → PowerPoint revisions
- I’m testing SemantiDeck, a local-first Figma Slides plugin for a specific accessibility workflow problem: semantic work can disappear when a deck is exported to PowerPoint or revised later.
SemantiDeck stores title, image and reading-order semantics with the Figma source, then safely patches the exported PPTX locally. It works on the native PPTX instead of rebuilding the deck, and if a mapping is ambiguous it refuses the fix rather than guessing.
Current private-beta scope:- slide titles
- image alt text and decorative state
- text language
- hyperlinks
- conservative reading-order changes
- reuse of validated semantics across later revisions
- Tables, charts, SmartArt and media are review-only for now.
The plugin declares no external network access, and presentation content does not need to be uploaded.
I’m looking for a few people who regularly deliver PowerPoint files and can test one non-sensitive deck plus one later revision.
