My first gaming-inspired poster design — would love feedback! 🎮💜
Hi everyone! 😊
I'm currently studying UX Design and recently applied for my first UX/Product Design role in the gaming industry. One of the application challenges was to create a poster introducing myself and showing what I bring to the table.
I designed the poster from scratch in Figma and went for a mix of editorial/magazine design and gaming UI, since gaming is a huge part of what originally made me interested in creating digital experiences.
The character image was created with AI based on my Fortnite character, but I designed the rest of the poster myself in Figma, including the layout, typography, hierarchy, UI elements, graphics, and overall composition.
This was also a little outside my usual UX work, and I ended up having WAY too much fun making it. 😂
I'd really love feedback from other designers! What catches your eye first? Does the visual hierarchy work? Is there anything you would have approached differently?
I'm still building my portfolio and learning, so I'm especially interested in hearing how other designers would critique it. 💜
