Just launched Kinetik — a Figma plugin for Motion Design Tokens & Variables

Hi everyone,

I'm a solo developer and this is actually my first Figma plugin, so I'm pretty excited to finally share it with the community.

While exploring Figma Motion, I started thinking about how motion could be managed more consistently inside Design Systems.

That's how Kinetik came about , it’s a free plugin for creating and organizing Motion Design Tokens without having to set everything up manually.

It helps you:

Create duration and easing tokens
Generate structured Figma Variables
Build a reusable foundation for your Motion Design System
Export your motion tokens as JSON or CSS variables, making it easier to bring the same motion values from Figma into code

Kinetik is completely free, and I'm still working on it and improving things as I go.
