Introducing UX ContentHub (plugin) – Variable & multilingual content management for design systems at scale

Hi all,

I built UX ContentHub, a plugin for design and content teams who manage multilingual content through Figma Variables — especially when Team Libraries are involved.

The problem

Figma Variables are a great foundation for multilingual design systems. The hard part is what comes after: scattered local collections, inconsistent translations, no shared structure. UX ContentHub turns that chaos into a workflow — from auditing and consolidating your local variables, all the way to publishing and maintaining a centralized string library across your entire design system.

Three core capabilities

Scan & Create — Select any frame or page and convert existing text layers into structured string variables in bulk, automatically reusing existing library and local variables where possible. No manual copy-paste, no missed layers.

Collection management — Audit your local variable collections: spot duplicates, orphaned variables, incomplete translations across modes, and get a health score for each collection.

Team Library maintenance — This is the big one. Once your local collections are clean, publish them as a shared library and keep them that way. Track what's in sync, spot what's drifting, and maintain a single source of truth for multilingual content across every file in your design system.

Who it's for

UX writers, content designers, and design system teams maintaining multilingual Figma files across multiple projects and contributors.
