BzzzzzBzzz - Have you also been missing purring buttons or clicky toggles in your prototypes? Hapticlabs.io is a platform to easily design custom haptic effects and we just added support for haptics in Figma prototypes!
What is it about?
- Native integration: Add haptics to “On click” interactions on both frame or component level
- Easy to use: Use our plugin to easily manage, configure or toggle haptics in prototypes
- Cross Platform: Works on both iOS and Android devices
- Highly customisable: Create your own custom haptic effects with Hapticlabs Studio
- Ready to ship: Export ready-to-implement haptic signals (React-Native, Kotlin & Swift)
How it works
- Visit the Playground file for a step-by-step tutorial (don’t forget to pet the cat! 🐈)
- Install the Hapticlabs plugin
- Create and add your own custom effects
Bit of backstory:
As a designer I have been fascinated by haptics to create engaging and intuitive interaction however struggled to easily create functional prototypes. 3 years ago I founded a startup called Hapticlabs to democratise haptic technology and ease access for other designers. I’m really excited to finally share our work with the Figma community and would love to hear your thoughts and feedback!
Happy buzzing!
