Why is it so hard to publish library ?

Question

The Publish Library action feels really hidden, and its location doesn't make much sense in a design system file.

Why not make it a global action, similar to the Share button? When you're working on the design system figma file, publishing the library is one of the primary actions.

Right now the flow is:
Assets → Library icon → Publish → Wait...

It feels unnecessarily buried. Let's make our lives easier.

It would also be helpful if, once we hit “Publish”, there were some sort of signal to tell us the status of the process. Instead, I hit the “Publish” button on the same element 4 times just for good measure, then wonder if I should close the modal…or whether that will cancel the action.
