Why is Figma Make within Figma Sites different than Figma Make app?

Using Figma Make within Figma Sites is a horrible experience. It understands nothing about the Figma Sites framework. It creates the components ok but figuring out how to add them to your webpage within Figma Sites is convoluted and wastes significant time and credits. An example of this is referencing Figma Make icon within Figma Sites. It keeps referring to Code Layers. Ultimately I had to use ChatGPT to make sense of things. 

I should be able to link to the component sets I have designed so it can build from there like I can within Figma Make. Instead it requests a screenshot. It does not explain how to upload the screenshot. I have to waste a lot of time figuring out how to get it files or how to retrieve the components it has built. 

This wastes my credits. It constantly gets things wrong even when I have told it repeatedly what to do and what to reference.

This has been an extremely frustrating experience and something Figma should have recognized as inconsistent. I am very disappointed and want my credits back.
