Hey @Cloud13114141, thanks for reaching out!

Let's try to track them down, could you share a bit more about what you're seeing? Are the files missing from a specific project or team, or have they disappeared entirely from your account? Did anyone else have access to them?

In the meantime, here are a few quick things to check:

  • Deleted folder: Go to your Drafts and open the Deleted section. If your files are there, you can right-click and restore them.
  • Different team or workspace: If you're part of multiple teams, each one has its own trash, the file might be sitting under a different team.
  • Moved by a teammate: If others had access, it's possible the file was moved to another project or team without you knowing.
  • Account check: Make sure you're logged into the correct Figma account, you can switch accounts from the file browser.

A couple of other edge cases worth knowing:

  • If the team was deleted, its files won't show in trash, you'd need to restore the deleted team to get access to your files and projects again.
  • If a project was deleted, the files go to trash individually and can be duplicated back to Drafts.
  • If a file was permanently deleted, it won't appear in trash anymore.

For a full walkthrough, this Help Center article covers everything on deleting and restoring files: Delete and restore files.

Do you happen to have any file links for the missing files? You might be able to find the URL from:

  • Your web browser history
  • Any past conversations where you shared the file with a colleague
  • The File > Recently Closed menu if you're using the Figma desktop app

If you can share a file link, I'm happy to dig into this further with you!
