When is native support on lottie files come?

As the title describes, i’m finding it odd when other prototype tools have native lottie support and figma only have it as a GIF since i recently move the majority of my work to figma.

    Yes please, this is much needed. Having to depend on LottieFiles plugin is not convenient, plus I don’t even like to use their service, as it’s costful for my ussage, so instead I export my animations in JSON using bodymovin, but then I have to create videos with the specific background color if I want to display those animations on my Figma prototypes, as the GIF importer from LottieFiles has crappy quality plus depends on their platform (and their free tier is extremely limited).

     

    It’s about time for Figma to support Lottie (json) animations natively 😢
