Currently when you’re trying to select variables as an alias, you don’t get any indication of what the ‘value’ actually is. However if you were to head over to your designs/components, and began adding the same variable to the component, the ‘value’ is presented. Which makes it difficult to understand when making updates to variable aliases.
In my mind these are using the same dropdown component, so confuses me that they don’t offer the same functionality across different areas of the app. See examples below.
- Is this something that could be added to the variable modal context?
- Is there any reasons why it wouldn’t have been added?
