Question

Unexpected charge caused by my accidental operation

I was in the process of handling my offboarding and role handover. While managing user permissions, I first removed my own Annual Full Seat access and then assigned an Annual Full Seat to another person.

However, when I reviewed the billing, I noticed that I was still charged a billing adjustment for Monthly seats. After checking multiple times, I found that I still had individual edit access to a project within the team, which resulted in a charge of $10.32.

I would like to request that Figma revoke this unexpected charge caused by my accidental operation.

Hey @Misp_Ronger, thanks for reaching out!

From what you’ve described, it looks like even after removing your Annual Full seat, you still had edit access to a project. In Figma, any user with edit access is automatically assigned a paid seat.

On annual plans, any seat changes are billed on a prorated basis, meaning you’re only charged for the time that seat was active during the billing period. That’s why you’re seeing a partial charge rather than a full seat cost.

Per Figma’s policy, subscription payments are generally non-refundable. That said, if this charge was unexpected, you can reach out to our support team with the details you’ve shared, they can review your case more closely.

You can contact support via the help widget in Figma or through our support hub.
