Problem: Bring forward shortrcut (cmd+alt+up/down) rotates the object

I love Figma but they really need to go back to what they had before the up and down button! this is especially affecting me because I use a german keyboard and to get to the [ ] is not easy accesible :(

Same here. They should at least allow us to assign our own shortcuts...

There is a work around I found, go to preferences in Figma - Keyboard layout - and schoose German QUERTZ. There is a note too there that says “Figma keyboard won’t automatically change if you change your system keyboard layout” I have now the system too in DE and what happens now is that I use: ö (down) and ä (up) to move elements all the way to the bottom or up (they also show the shortcut when you right click the element) and use control and those two letters to move up and down one by one. Perhaps you already found this solution but thought I post it maybe it can help someone else. I still think the arrows was the BEST shortcut! 

Wait a minute!! I didn’t know that you can change the keyboard layout internally. Thank you very much for the hint. This basically solves the issue on my end. I’m fine with Ö and Ä 😎 even though, arrows would be more suitable.
