Please please please fix the icon for the 'collapse panel' button on the figjam sidebar

This sidebar button implies collapsing to the side. But when you press it, it collapses upwards.

This grinds my gears. Please change the icon to vertical expand/collapse one, or just rotate the one you have to put the small rectangle at the bottom. I go crazy every time I press this.

Hey, ​@Julien Whitney! Thanks for your post and for sharing your feedback. Hopefully it’s not driving you too crazy, all things considered.

 

I’ve shared this with the team, but question for you - were you expecting the icon to completely hide the panel (by collapsing to the left), or leave it in a collapsed state with icons that flow vertically?

Claude helped me make a mock up of both, and tbh I think either is better. As long as it collapses to the side like the icon suggests rather than up!
