Hi! I’ve been testing figma motion and I noticed the preview is always at 60fps or more, not really sure, but there is no way to change the preview to something else, I would need to be exporting the video at 30fps or 24fps everytime I want to check on animation timing.
Any way to change that or is it something for an upcoming update?

Having created animations for myself in the past using tools like Flash, I can definitely appreciate why you’d want to preview at the same frame rate as your export. In my case, I wanted to have certain events sync with an audio track where frame rate has a big influence on timing. While I don’t have any info on this at the moment, I shared your feedback with the team for review. Let me know if you have any other questions!
The built-in Motion preview plays at your display's refresh rate, and you're right that there's no fps control. 24, 30 read really differently from 60, especially if you're timing to audio.
My Motion Path Figma plugin now does this in its own preview:
Playback FPS — a pill that cycles Smooth → 24 → 30 → 60. Pick 24 and the preview steps exactly the way your 24fps export will.
