Missing Padding Controls After New Figma UI Update

I’m also finding the padding control panel. :(

I completely understand how frustrating this may be. With the full rollout of UI3, padding for Auto layout has indeed changed.

I couldn't agree more. Especially about hiding spacing controls. 

Please bring the auto layout padding controls back! This is the worst product decision!

The padding controls in the new Figma UI have been moved. Auto Layout padding is now accessed through updated shortcuts in the interface. The old panel no longer exists, but all padding functions are still available using these new controls.

I HATED this update, then realised I was the problem, user error  😩

Did you seriously have an intern design this last update? This update is a downgrade!!!

I’m experiencing this for the first time, I’m honestly dumbfounded. I cannot comprehend why this panel is now gone. I use it all the time just to CHECK what the values are, if they are correct, and now I… can't? I need to hover around the right elements, which means that I have to zoom in and out all the time just to be precise… it’s absolutely nonsense. And I have a HUGE empty area in my sidebar now, which is now just dead space. I’m absolutely flabbergasted. This is Adobe-level bad, it’s very disappointing! I thought that forcing me to click on “show all settings” was bad, but this tops it by a lot.

What a travesty.

OMG it’s getting worse by the minute, if there’s 0 padding, trying to add padding on ALL SIDES with the shortcut only adds padding on the bottom left… is the design and testing team at Figma replaced by ChatGPT 0.1 ????
