In Figma Make chat bullet points accidental sending

In Figma Make when chatting to the AI and writing bullet points, I expect hitting Enter to create a new bullet point, but it sends my incomplete chat to the agent, wasting me time and credits.

Hey, ​@Andrew_McLoughlin1. Thanks for your post. I have been in the same situation as you many times with pretty much every chat interface, so I definitely can understand your frustration - particularly since it will use credits if it performs any work.

 

Have you tried holding down shift when hitting enter? In most chat interfaces, this will go to a new line or new bullet point rather than submit the text. With longer, more complicated prompts, I sometimes will draft my prompt somewhere else so I can more easily revise and edit it, then just paste it in once it’s ready-to-go. Let me know if that doesn’t work for you. Cheers!
