I understand the idea, but oh my gosh is it a real kick in the butt. It’s a bummer to block such lovely, speed-benefiting functionality like tabbing with hit-or-miss spellcheck suggestions. (Especially when it’s trying to spellcheck my or a client company’s name...)

Language is so contextually variable that spellcheck is inherently hit-or-miss, so recommendations should only ever be opt-in. I understand how this functionality was decided on, your heads are in a very reasonable place, but this unintentionally removes that ideal opt-in experience.

If nothing else, it’d be nice to add words to spellcheck’s library. Or give it a good swat with a newspaper and say “NO.” I’m open to either option.

EDIT: AYYYYYY my wishes are answered! Add to dictionary appears in the right click menu, which is sometimes finnicky so I didn’t find it. But that’s fine, who cares. It works!
