Friction point during upgrade process
Subject: A UX issue in Figma's own upgrade journey
As a UX and digital product professional, I noticed an unexpected friction point while trying to upgrade from Starter to Professional.
The upgrade popup clearly presents the available plans and prices, but offers no obvious call-to-action to subscribe. I had to leave the popup and search elsewhere in the interface to find the upgrade option.
This creates unnecessary friction at a critical conversion point, particularly for users who have already decided to pay.
Suggestion: Add a prominent "Upgrade" button directly beneath each relevant plan, allowing users to proceed without leaving the comparison screen.
A small UX improvement that could make a meaningful difference to the conversion journey.
