Hi everyone,

I wanted to share some feedback as a solo user of Figma Sites.

I’m an individual artist, and I created a small personal portfolio website using Figma. I really enjoyed the process - the design tools are amazing and it felt very natural to build everything there.

However, I ran into a problem when it came to publishing. For someone like me who just needs one simple site, the requirement to have a full paid seat feels quite expensive and more suited for teams rather than individuals.

I don’t need collaboration features, AI tools, or advanced functionality - just the ability to maintain and publish a single portfolio site.

I believe there are many creators in a similar situation who would happily pay for a smaller, more affordable plan designed specifically for solo users.

It would be amazing to see an option like:

  • a single-site plan
  • limited to one user
  • without team features
  • at a lower price point

Figma is such a great tool, and I would really love to continue using it without having to switch platforms.

Thank you for listening 🙏

Hi, I wanted to add a real example of how I’m using Figma Sites.

I’m a solo artist, and I only need one small portfolio website. I don’t work in a team and don’t need collaboration features - just a simple way to keep my site published and updated.

Right now, the pricing feels difficult to justify for such a small use case. It seems designed more for teams or larger projects, which makes it hard for individual creators like me to stay.

I really enjoyed building my site in Figma, and I would love to continue using it - but the current pricing makes that challenging.

I hope there could be a simpler option for people like me in the future.

Thank you.

Hi @Daria Konchits - thank you for sharing your feedback and thoughts regarding Figma sites. First, I saw you had 2 topics about this, so I merged one over to this particular to keep things in one place.

I get what you’re saying—Sites (and Make) can feel like more than you need as a solo user. Between the cost and the feature set, it might just not be the right fit for you right now. I’ll definitely pass along your feedback about wanting something more tailored for individual users.

In the meantime, one idea: you could use Figma Design to build out your vision and prototype your flows—that gives you a starting point. From there, it might be worth checking out some community plugins that help you publish your work live. One option to look into is “Figma to HTML” -- perhaps this can be useful 😊

Hi, thank you for your response.

I wanted to ask if there are any plans to introduce a more affordable option specifically for individual users in the near future.

Also, since my current paid period will end soon, it would be very helpful to understand if any changes might be expected within that timeframe, so I can decide whether I need to start moving my site to another platform.

Thank you for your time.
